Where on earth did you get that assessment from? She made a fundamental breakthrough in chirped pulses. I've been to her plenary talk, she's not in any way part of a "diversity quota".
- sevencolors 6y agoBecause sexist or racist folks assume women or minorities are given awards for "diversity". Then use the "diversity quota" as a dog-whistle for their outdated view points
- bzb6 6y agoWhat’s outdated about sexism or racism? Has the scientifically proven difference between races or sexes changed fundamentally lately and I haven’t heard of it?
