Today I'm open sourcing the code that I've made $500K off of
- 1cvmask 6y agoI failed to see the license for it. Will you make it Apache 2?
- TimSchumann 6y agoI don’t think the individual you’re asking had anything to do with creating the code or the license, they just posted the link here.
- bird_monster 6y agoNo, they are the same person. HN username, twitter username, github username are all derivations of Reilly Chase.
- reillychase 6y agoProbably not, I really wouldn't recommend for anyone to actually use the code in their next project, I just wanted to try to inspire anyone who might be thinking they're not a good enough programmer to start a SaaS business because I felt that way and almost never launched because of it.
- jitendrac 6y agoI second this. Use it as a reference for quick mvp.
- Tepix 6y agoVery cool and inspirational. Just do it!
- alexellisuk 6y agoCongrats!
- vkdelta 6y agoCool idea. What other products have the same requirement (as ubiquity needs to host controller) ?
- reillychase 6y agoThanks for sharing!

- angryasian 6y agowhat exactly does it do ?
- tmd83 6y agoIs this the current production version of the code or the MVP I wonder. But looks like a simple, focused and very impressive execution born of his own pain points were.
