- joshspankit 6y agoGood question
- zinekeller 6y agoYes, it will be. The main reason, as all things, comes down to breaking human trust: tracking companies may send a small picture/small JS (that only contains a unique ID) that is randomly generated but is continously cached by the browser, effectively circumventing cookie policy.
- _flux 6y agoI suppose it's still possible that a CDN-hosted file is served faster than a file from your server. And you may need to pay for that traffic. But, basically, yes.
- folmar 6y agoIt already mostly is, it is a odd hit to be using exactly the same library from the same CDN as you do. But people also use it for being faster than their main server as CDNs put more effort to be fast than mom-and-pop.
