Belgium’s shops were shut ‘as a coronavirus shock tactic’
- musicale 6y agoIf this is true, it seems like it could undermine trust in public health officials and compliance with public health directives. I wonder if they are considering compensation for businesses that were shut down unnecessarily.
- gnusty_gnurc 6y agoIt's largely all security theater that plays into the censorious, moral superiority zeitgeist. People are looking for excuses to berate everyone around them. People are reducing everyone around them to villains and forming communities around that shared hatred. It's insufferable.
