Another comment above says the NSF is contracted to return the site to its natural state and that since the collapse it is safer to enter the structure and begin removal.
- jacobwilliamroy 6y agoHopefully they follow through. Sometimes people find sneaky ways to get out of their contractual obligations. Especially in cleanup jobs such as this where the primary damage is to the land. It can be difficult to find someone with both the power and interest to enforce such contracts.
