This move is very Nintendo-like. Gimmick then don't even attempt to compete with the big dogs.
The fanboys have their meat to chew on "it's not hot". And they will repeat it on command as Apple falls behind to a swath of competition. "It might be slow, but at least it doesn't warm my lap."
- hchz 6y agoNintendos profit forecast for FY2020 is 150% of Sony's gaming division. Apple just dropped hardware which crushes every comparable competitor. But to you, Nintendo is not competing by "making more money", and Apple is "falling behind" by ... jumping years ahead? - simonh 6y agoThe third most valuable company on the planet's long term business model has been a "fast way to fall behind", and is not "even attempting to compete with the big dogs"? Well, they just pantsed Microsoft at their own ARM laptop game (#2 most valuable) and the #1 big dog is, er, Saudi Aramco.
