Jailhouse: Linux-Based Partitioning Hypervisor
- commandpaul 6y agoThis sounds great for Industry 4.0 and Edge Automation, The Management core can do a Linux boot and partition the hetrogenous SoC and launch VMs each running with dedicated HW resources. From what I've seen Jailhouse supports the Xeon Cache partitioning so it's pretty good process isolation.
- rwmj 6y agoJan Kiszka has done lots of talks over the years about virtualization and the specific requirements of these realtime/embedded/disconnected systems, and Jailhouse, at the KVM Forum. If you're interested in this it's really worth looking for these on Youtube.
