I love this, before github actions we used a similar system on our user group site (lnug.org). We would create issues then using the github api pull the issues

I love this, before github actions we used a similar system on our user group site (lnug.org). We would create issues then using the github api pull the issues with certain tags and build the site do we could have constantly updated information on the site while keeping all the post "administration" on GitHub issues. Definitely would love to see more of this practice, ""github as an cms""!!
