Ask HN: C/C++ Project Ideas?
I have programming experiences in Python and JavaScript but recently I've been wanting to dive deeper into lower level programming. Syntax in C/C++ isn't foreign to me and I do have a good intuition on what level of abstraction they're at.
But I want to build something that's meaningful and fun but can't really think of anything that is worth building in C/C++ and not in Python or JS.
Any recommendations?

- stevofolife 6y agoFunny how I got my interest in C/C++ because of the OS course I'm taking right now. I just read your post regarding it. Do you recommend additional resources that can help get into writing your own OS in C/C++? I'm not sure that I want to learn Rust, or do you have a motivating reason why I should learn Rust instead? Thanks!
