People absolutely negotiate successfully with Google. New hires fresh out of uni do. Tens of thousands of more dollars.
It just seems that invading their employees privacy is table stakes for them.
- howlgarnish 6y agoYou can (and should) negotiate salary, they expect that and have the authority to bump up your pay. However, trying to negotiate the legal terms of a contract with a FAANG is highly unlikely to succeed, since HR is not authorized to change anything and Legal doesn't give a shit about you.
