It's very hard to imagine a machine that could pull this one off. Was each lottery ball prepared with a weight that would favor it? What kind of mechanical scheme is even possible that could do this? An extremely precise lightning-fast hidden OCR-reading robot system? I'm on the side of "shit happens" for this one.
- nevi-me 6y agoIt uses a random-number generator, no longer a physical machine
- sporkologist 6y agoI couldn't find a source for that, but if they did that, they are screwed, because no physical chain of evidence (videos of the drawing, the actual lotto ball machine, etc)
- jobigoud 6y agoMaybe it's a PRNG and they first pick a random seed and keep that seed for verification.
