Smart move - I was thinking whether this might act as a model of how other trading blocs to be more closely temporally clustered, but I think this is a special situation, facilitated by the date line and the geographical proximity of Samoa to Australia. IOW - probably wouldn't work if eg India and Brazil wanted to get cosy.
