Stop slacking, start rocking: Why we built Rock for a distributed workforce
- kenzofong 6y agoFounder here :) Feel free to ask me anything.

- ychw 6y agoLooks like a nice alternative for slack for sure. Task and crossing company space are very interesting features. I used to use confluence + jira to manage a project with a lot of external members. The permission management is terrible. Rock probably would have made my life easier.
- zarisbaby 6y agoLooks like a great replacement for Slack
- yinrow 6y agoEventually a good replacement for Slack: had problem with Slack for a while but had to stick with it. Can I port all previous Slack conversations into the Rock?
- yswu 6y agoRock seems to be a lot more than what Slack has to offer. Great product from very ambitious team. Also love the marketing slogan. Very catching.
- gracezxiao 6y agoNice read. Very exciting!
- Antoine-G 6y agoFeel that the key here is the switch to an asynchronous way of working. Many real-time communication tools are supposed to increase productivity but end up being so time consuming, lack of shared information is probably a big factor. Discussions at a task or note level could clearly be a game changer.
- 1_timetraveler 6y agoGreat slogan. Great start!
