The audacity of asking for a bailout while planning the IPO.
- eschulz 6y agoVery audacious. Looks like their approach was to illustrate the financial difficulties of the Canadian hosts and ask the government of Canada to help those people out. Classic situation where the lion's share of the financial risk is held by thousands of individuals instead of the central company, and this is probably what also let them avoid certain taxes in the first place.
