Without first hand macos 'power user' experience I can understand why it might be difficult to wrap your head around. Sometimes things that might take you 5 seconds on Linux take your 8 hours for some reason. Like installing Python. And the. A version changes something and you need to reinstall python but everything is broken and nothing works. And then all of a sudden home brew doesn't work and you need to spend a week researching why and it turns out you need to boot into single user mode and chmod every folder in some directory for everything to work. Pure nightmare
