I just find them so tiring. I'm sure it says more about me getting old than anything about the content authors, but I've just had enough decades of it. It's the same reason I could never get into Reddit. I don't need the same OS / atheism / whatever flamewars from 1995. If you're older than me, you probably thought it was old and busted in 1995 already, and if you're younger, maybe that time was 2000 or 2005 or 2010 or whatever. But, sooner or later, it happens to all of us.
