Interested in meaningful work? Want to have a hand in combating climate change? Want to be part of a product that will literally launch (into space)? MethaneSAT’s mission is to map and measure worldwide methane emissions, with the aim of reducing those emissions and making this data available free of charge (read more: https://www.methanesat.org/about-methanesat/ https://www.methanesat.org/about-methanesat/).
The big challenge of the frontend will be translating the hard data downloaded from the satellite into formats usable by a variety of audiences. React + TypeScript.
This is a US-based remote team, and post-covid it will continue to be remote.

- ThisIsTheWay 6y agoThis is one of the more exciting remote sensing projects going on right now (IMO), and I was thrilled to see this post! The goal is very admirable, and I hope you can find a great candidate and complete the mission.

- archarios 6y agoI applied to this job last month and the application status is "Not Selected" in the dashboard. I think I'd be a good fit for the position! I'm willing to negotiate on salary or whatever else may have been an issue.
- doshlord 6y agoYou don't need a satellite to know that it's 90%+ China/India. Nothing will be done.
