I unfortunately agree, but windows makes it extremely easy to wipe it and start over in 1 click. I own 2 windows 10 laptops, I only had to click the button 2 times in my life. It's like windows realized hardware companies were going to do this and wanted to make it easy to defeat them.

So I haven't tried this lately, but the last time I did, resetting windows this way did reset it... to the bloated crapware fest that the vendor had delivered it as. Did that change?

  I got my laptop in 2015, it's been clean of crapware since. It's also blazing fast. These modern computers are incredible. Not sure why I'd ever upgrade.

  They now have a box you can check marked "Remove pre-installed software" that gives you a clean Windows image.
