I don't even use Classrooms :/ I find myself running in to the same thing whenever I am poking around my running processes. There are tons of daemons running as root that are not easy to identify. eg: "What the hell is eoshostd?", and googling isn't super helpful because Apple doesn't seem to have public docs for this stuff.
