One time I got approached by a recruiter from a startup. I wasn't actively looking to change jobs, but I accepted to go to an interview. One of my interviewers opened with the cliched "Why do you want to work for us?". I laughed out loud and said "You are the ones who called me here, why do you want me to work for you?" I'm not usually that snarky, but I couldn't help it this time. Working relationships work both ways, and some companies need to be less full of themselves.
