I wander about the pricing...
- arthurcolle 6y ago$999.99 per month. "We wanted to redefine how people interact with macOS, on a deeper, ... and more granular level. Truly redefining the user experience and rethinking what was really possible, in the cloud." Slogan for new product line: "A silver lining."

- flardinois 6y ago$1.083 per hour, but you have to pre-pay for 24 hours to start one up. After that, it's billed by the second.
- dfabulich 6y agoWhere do you see that? There's no price for mac1.metal instances listed on https://aws.amazon.com/ec2/dedicated-hosts/pricing/ https://aws.amazon.com/ec2/dedicated-hosts/pricing/ EDIT: It shows up now. Ah, it presumably comes directly from @flardinois's reporting for TechCrunch. https://techcrunch.com/2020/11/30/aws-brings-the-mac-mini-to-its-cloud/ https://techcrunch.com/2020/11/30/aws-brings-the-mac-mini-to...
- sramam 6y agoCould you point to the source of this information? It wasn't obvious to me.
- cultofmetatron 6y agoomg... if you use it sigificatly (ie: every day) you might as well buy a physical mac mini and keep it at home. it'll pay for itself in a month!
