I dunno but my understanding is there are completely ethical ways to obtain embryonic stem cells for research.

- kennywinker 6y agoAs someone who believes abortion is entirely ethical, I don’t really like the framing of your statement - but yes there are ways to obtain embryonic stem cells that don’t involve abortion - specifically the unused embryos from IVF

- m-ee 6y agoOut of curiosity what would you have done with them? They'd otherwise be destroyed and they're an inevitable result of the process. Do you oppose IVF?
- tesmar2 6y agoUsing that logic the incentive will be to keep creating them since hey, they’re dead now so what does it matter. Yes IVF usually results in the loss of a lot of babies, so no to IVF.
