- powerapple 6y agoThe title says files, and no link to those files. Why? Wikileak is a better kind of journalism. Publishing data is more important than opinions.
- dwd 6y agoThat's likely to get the source of the leak shipped off for re-education. Most likely not one of the authors of the document, but they'd possibly be able to find out who had access to all those files.

- dwd 6y agoFinally, some reporting on the pre-pandemic pneumonia spike. What isn't mentioned is that this wasn't isolated to Hubei. I heard anecdotally back in March about there being a spike in pneumonia cases in Australian hospitals after my wife was treated for it. You don't see much influenza during the Australian summer, so it was notable. Her test came up negative for influenza, but also negative for SARS-CoV-2 when she was later tested. This doesn't let China off the hook for it's poor reporting, and something would appear to have occurred in Wuhan that caused the virus to become more virulent if it was in fact circulating earlier.
