Out of curiosity, which country didn't have servants?
- vsskanth 6y agoAll countries have servants. It's a question of who can afford them and what it means. In countries with less income and wealth equality, only the really rich can afford servants. The rest would turn to machines and automation. In countries such as Brazil and India, which have high inequality, even the middle class can afford a part time maid.
