This scenario doesn't make any sense. So the guy being guarded was simply allowed to step into the open outside the car, without cover, in already suspicious circumstances? Shouldn't a bodyguard do these things for him? How could the assassins have known that he'd do that, and not say turn back? I suspect they don't really know what happened, and right now we're getting various wild rumours.
