- nix23 6y ago>new hug-a-Linux image I have a little secret for you...Microsoft didn't change one bit since Palmer.
- Shared404 6y agoWhat, but I thought "Microsoft <3 Open Source" && "Microsoft <3 Linux" They even open sourced... calculator and powershell.
- nix23 6y ago>They even open sourced... calculator and powershell. AND DOS 1.0 lets not forget that, they even work on the Linux kernel anything HyperV related...Windows is the better Hypervisor anyway ;)
- Shared404 6y agoOn further thought, I do have to actually give them credit for VS-Code, despite the fact that they hobble the OSS version.
- chrismeller 6y agoThey haven’t even provided Linux compatibility for exFAT, their “open” file system, which offers less functionality. I wouldn’t hold my breath on NTFS.
- SahAssar 6y agoThey have published the spec and released the patents to Open Invention Network though. IIRC Samsung provided the actual implementation that is in linux 5.4+.
