What's wrong with using gpg to communicate securely?
- theamk 6y agoYou can see it immediately above [0], where two people, both presumably very familiar with PGP, could not do so. [0] https://news.ycombinator.com/item?id=25248465 https://news.ycombinator.com/item?id=25248465
- uhtred 6y agoI don't believe they were both very familiar with PGP. It's not hard to use if you read: https://gnupg.org/gph/en/manual.html https://gnupg.org/gph/en/manual.html https://emailselfdefense.fsf.org/en/ https://emailselfdefense.fsf.org/en/ If was in a position where I had to take privacy very seriously, i.e. I am an activist or journalist... spending a couple of hours reading a manual doesn't seem much to ask.
