What are you thinking of as "ultra-left"? The only actual radicalization I've seen in the last decade has been "ultra-right," militias, normalization of anti-immigrant and anti-minority sentiment, hyper-nationalism, normalization of hate speech, hate crimes and hate speech against minorities, etc. DHS and FBI both call out rising right wing domestic terrorism as one of the top threats to the US. They don't mention "ultra-left" anything.
