Very cool! I was at Udvar-Hazy back in 2013 and I guess I completely missed the KH-9 because I was in a hurry so I sort of ran through the place mostly to see the Blackbird and the Space Shuttle.. I guess I'll just have to go back! The article I linked shows that they used Hercules aircraft to catch the buckets as they parachuted down back towards the water...
