Ask HN: Black bar on top of HN header?
Uhm, title says all. Have you guys and gals seen this change? I don't what it means, it just appeared out of nowhere.
Edit: It's even there even while logged out. Weird.
- kens 6y agoThe black bar is a HN tradition indicating the death of someone important to the community, in this case Tony Hsieh.
- zinekeller 6y agoOh, I was not not aware of that tradition, sorry. So, it is analogous to flags being flown at half-mast. RIP Tony Hsieh.
- gtirloni 6y agoI think it also goes green/red during Christmas.
