This is what Cal Newport says in his book "Deep Work". I think this is correct. His book scared me to my core. I do not want to be left behind and fall even more behind overtime. Which is how it has been for my parents. This fear is what drove me to really change how I work. I do deep work on tasks for stretches of time and I've been doing a lot of personal automation.
