This isn't comforming to any USB spec regarding hotplugging and can fry devices at the slightest provocation, or none whatsoever. I bought some and they killed two power bricks, a dock and USB-C monitor before I realized they're the culprits.

- nikisweeting 6y agoWhy is this being posted now? Magsafe-style USB-C cables have been around for over a year and there are half a dozen manufacturers. Are (non-novel) direct Amazon links allowed on HN like this?
