My main response is So? Really it is well understood that the main reason for high unequality in the US is relatively high numbers of poort immigrants. I'd say that is a good thing, not a bad thing.
- andrewcooke 15y agois that true? i don't have any data, but i don't think it is. my understanding is that immigrants in the usa typically move quite quickly up the social scale. your problem is that you have a large class of americans who have somehow got locked out of any progress.
