- phendrenad2 6y agoAny article about UK TV licenses is a lightning rod for smug Americans to come in and assume the moral high ground because of how "silly" the law is, not realizing that the UK TV license law is something we the citizens tolerate from our government lest their latent authoritarianism overflow and they start taxing sex or breathing.
