I'm so paranoid about privacy lately that not knowing what Chang'e was, the first thing I thought was "great ... another thing stealing my data". Glad to see some actually good telemetry for once.

Right, telemetry used to be a positive or neutral term :) By itself it should not be so bad, either, but we overcorrect and say no to any data collection.
