Hence the word "hint". I think this article is meant that their is a discovery of a lead that has a not unreasonable chance of resulting in something exciting. This isn't a hall-of-famer, this is an upcoming prospect.

- contravariant 6y agoWell, 2.5 sigma is a bit weak to even call it a hint. There'd be no end to hints of new physics if we start including those results.
