AWS hasn't really mitigated it. You just need to re-create the domain a bunch of times and eventually you'll get the right NS to take it over.

  Really? Do you mean you’ll eventually get 4 matching NS or just overlap 1? How about Cloudflare? I always assumed no one gets the same combo of NS and they actively monitor / remove domains that don’t point to the expected NS.
