Google removes Baidu apps after they were found collecting sensitive user data
- DarthGhandi 6y agoMAC/IMEI/IMSI and a slew of other identifiers are available to apps without user permission. Interested in reading this new policy, find it hard to believe Google's own apps and system services aren't collecting this info. At the very least there must be tens of thousands of apps on play store clearly accessing this data. Android SDK's have long been known to prolifically leak data to other apps also without appropriate permissions.
