Maradona is the Michael Jackson of football. Out of this world both on and off pitch/stage. A larger than life charismatic eccentric. See the other goal he scored in the hand of God game (a world cup semi final no less) to see a complete picture of what he was all about.
- mrleinad 6y agoDid you mean Michael Jordan?
- cafard 6y agoGiven that he said pitch/stage and not pitch/court, I assume he did mean Michael Jackson.
- g42gregory 6y agoI think he meant Michael Jackson both for the eccentricity and talent. If I were to think of an analog to Michael Jordan in football, I think of Pele. Although, in my opinion, and also relatively speaking, I think Pele accomplished a lot more than Michael Jordan in the corresponding sport.
