Is there a mispelling in third line of the Cherokee wording on the page? The word "kipikiskwewininaw" is spelled differently on the third repetition in the Cree script.
- yorwba 6y agoIt's exactly the same text as in the document by the government of British Columbia that they link as a source: https://www2.gov.bc.ca/assets/gov/british-columbians-our-governments/services-policies-for-government/policies-procedures-standards/web-content-development-guides/corporate-identity-assets/visid-pdfs/bc_sans_the_story.pdf https://www2.gov.bc.ca/assets/gov/british-columbians-our-gov... I wouldn't be surprised if the person who prepared that document didn't speak Cree themselves, but was just copy-pasting what looked like random gibberish to them.
