Linode Fremont, CA servers down
- drx 15y agoThis was just posted, can't edit the URL: http://status.linode.com/2011/05/outage-in-fremont-facility.html http://status.linode.com/2011/05/outage-in-fremont-facility....
- sskates 15y agoI did the exact same thing to check. It's nice that we live in a world where the latency of this sort of information is down to a few minutes.
- drx 15y agoThis won't be apparent later on, so for everyone else: the story broke on twitter within ~2 minutes of the outage, several minutes before the Linode status blog. Is anyone here using twitter to monitor outages and other similar spikes on twitter?
- aeden 15y agoI don't use it to monitor, but it's one of the first places I go when things go awry to search and see if others are experiencing issues.
- aeden 15y agoIt seems that the issue may be Hurricane Electric. They appear to have completely disappeared from the Internet. Nothing like a global backbone taking a siesta from providing network service.
- Klinky 15y agoThis is affecting me. :( I was trying to access one of my sites right after it went down.
