Environmental Carbon Capture is a terrible engineering solution. CO2 is millions of times more concentrated when it leaves the smokestack than it is in the general atmosphere. Any sensible approach would focus on removing CO2 where it is most concentrated and easiest to remove. I really want carbon capture to be viable, but so far it seems like a distraction.
