Damn that's gross. When I asked my Android Auto for a weather report it gave me the weather and then said something like "by the way, I can read you the news: just say 'hey google, what's the news?'" That annoyed me as well, but at least it wasn't trying to sell me something. I also understand that feature discovery is extremely hard on these voice interfaces, so I'm willing to let the Google thing slide as long as it doesn't do it too often.
