I remember first hearing about this when I read the book LSD by Otto Snow as a teenager. It's kind of fascinating that tryptamines have been anecdotally known to treat migraines and cluster headaches since at least the early 1960s. I myself am lucky to not suffer these, but the horror stories I've heard from my friends make me really sad that we are just now exploring this avenue of treatment.
