I just replaced all my blinds with Somfy motors as well (project of last weekend). My plan is to do something similar except I plan to use a small board with a small microcontroller (probably a STM8) to send the radio frames to the motor controllers. It feels great to have a full home automation system that doesn't rely on any cloud technology. It's more secure and I'm sure that no product will lock me out of usage when they EOL.
