- Veen 6y agoIt is in extremely bad taste—not to mention ludicrously inaccurate—to compare your premium laptop ecosystem options with chattel slavery.
- a_imho 6y agoAren't Apple devices assembled in sweatshops? The comparison might be more accurate than intended.
- newbie578 6y agoNo, you see Foxconn is the one building them, Apple only pays them.. Lol.
- valuearb 6y agoNo, Apple has a code of conduct all their contractors are required to adhere to,, and pays substantially more than market. Their jobs are so coveted potential hires wait in lines for days just for a chance at getting an Apple job.

- valuearb 6y agoApples relationship with Foxconn has a lot more to do with providing safer and higher paid jobs to allow workers to escape brutal rural farm jobs. I’ve never seen anyone wait in massive lines for days just for the chance at slavery.
