Webview looks like an interesting project. I feel lost people's complaints with Electron apps from from memory usage / JavaScript performance though, which it doesn't look like it would improve significantly.
- himujjal 6y agoWebview is okay for most apps to be honest. Performance isn't that snappy, but for many apps like Markdown readers and stuff, its great. Now I do support Electron that push web technologies to the limit. e.g. Signal, Skype, VS Code etc.
