- uriel 15y agoAlso Brad Fitzpatrick (of LiveJournal and memcached fame) recently moved from the Android team to the Go team. Go on Android should be quite cool, but what will be awesome is Go on AppEngine.
- singular 15y agoyeah I noticed him on the team. The core team has some amazing people on it, including famous people Rob Pike (Bell Labs unix/plan 9 guy) and Brad. I think that's a good sign that google are quite ambitious about the language :)
- leon_ 15y ago> Go on AppEngine I hope that's the "surprise" Andrew mentioned on twitter: > http://twitter.com/#!/go_nuts/status/63762141555064832 http://twitter.com/#!/go_nuts/status/63762141555064832
- uriel 15y agoI hope so, in the mean time there is this issue in the AppEngine tracker: http://code.google.com/p/googleappengine/issues/detail?id=2382 http://code.google.com/p/googleappengine/issues/detail?id=23...

- edsrzf 15y agoBack in February on the dev list Rob said something about "...until the App Engine stuff is out." For some reason this email doesn't appear in the archive, but I'm definitely looking at it in my inbox right now. It did and still does make me wonder, though.
- vegai 15y agoThe ARM support wasn't working the last time I tried it, unfortunately, but hopefully it'll get there.
