Solar Power Stations in Space Could Be the Answer to Our Energy Needs
- SlipperySlope 6y agoThis old idea was stopped long ago by resistance to the notion of beaming microwave radiation back to earth. With hacking or malicious intent the beam is a weapon of mass destruction. "Oops, mission control is so very sorry that thruster #21 misfired and Shanghai got fried..." Build the panels on earth and deploy them on earth. With battery storage, solar is already cheaper than any other power source.
