28c3: The coming war on general computation (2011)
- jason0597 6y agoMy honest view is that the new line of Macs is proof that what this speaker was talking about is a real threat to the openness of computing. Unless Apple becomes more friendly with letting you break out of their walled garden and install your own operating system and run your own code (without phoning home hashes of your binaries), then I fear this is the beginning of the end for open computing.
